Who is responsible

This site belongs to Romina Gentilcore, author, based in Rosario, Argentina. She decides what is done with the data collected here.

What data is collected

There is only one place on this entire site where data is requested: the contact form. It collects what you type:

• Your name
• Your email address
• The message you send

In addition, as on any website, the server hosting it records technical details of the visit — IP address, browser, date and time. These keep the site running and help detect abuse. They are not used to profile anyone, nor combined with any other information.

What it is used for

Only to reply to your message. No mailing list is built, no newsletter is sent, and nothing is sold or handed to third parties for commercial or advertising purposes.

Who else sees it

Delivering a message requires a few intermediate services. These are all of them, without exception:

• Vercel — the company hosting the site, where the form runs.
• Resend — the service that turns the form into an email and delivers it. It relies on Amazon Web Services for the actual sending.
• Microsoft — because the mailbox receiving the message is an Outlook/Hotmail account.

All three process data in the United States, so sending a message means that information leaves Argentina.

How long it is kept

Your message exists only as an email in a mailbox. It is kept for as long as it remains useful to the conversation and deleted once it no longer is — or sooner, if you ask.

Cookies and browser storage

This site uses no cookies and no analytics tools. There is no Google Analytics or anything equivalent, which is also why you will not find a cookie banner: there is nothing to accept.

The only thing stored in your browser is the time of the last message you sent, to prevent accidental repeat submissions. That value stays on your device, never reaches any server, and disappears if you clear the site's data.

Third-party content

The site's fonts are hosted on this same domain. Opening the page makes no connection to outside servers.

The book trailer is embedded from YouTube in its cookie-free mode, and only loads if you scroll down to that section. If you get there, YouTube receives your IP address and Google's privacy policy applies from that point on.

The purchase buttons lead to external stores such as Amazon, Buscalibre or Google Play. From the moment you click, each of those stores' privacy policies apply instead of this one.

Your rights

Since no data is recorded, the only thing of yours that can exist is the email you sent through the form, sitting in Romina's mailbox. About that you can ask for two things: to be told what is there, or to have it deleted. Deleting it means literally removing that message from the mailbox, done by hand.

Separately, the provider hosting the site keeps technical connection data, including your IP address, for a limited time and under its own retention policy. That data is managed by them, not by this site.

For any of these requests, writing to contacto@rominagentilcore.com is enough. There is no cost and you will get an answer as soon as possible.

In Argentina, personal data protection is governed by Law 25.326, and the Agency for Access to Public Information is the supervisory body you may complain to if you believe your rights were not respected.
